The Fox Valley Marathon is back. Race organizers announced Wednesday that the event — which last ran in 2022 before a three-year pause — will return on October 5 with a redesigned course and a new title sponsor.
The 26.2-mile course winds through Geneva, Batavia, and St. Charles along the Fox River Trail, with the finish line at the Pottawatomie Park amphitheater in St. Charles.
Registration is open at foxvalleymarathon.com. Early-bird pricing is $95 for the full marathon and $65 for the half marathon through June 1.
"We heard from runners every year asking when we were coming back," said race director Kevin Hollenbeck. "The community support for this event has always been exceptional."
