Fox Valley Regional Medical Center announced Tuesday a $112 million expansion that will add 80 inpatient beds and nearly double the capacity of its emergency department, addressing wait times that have grown steadily since 2022.
The project, funded through a combination of hospital revenue bonds and a state health infrastructure grant, will also include a dedicated cardiac care unit and an expanded surgical suite.
